Moving Forward!

by Amy on October 29, 2009

It’s been a wonderfully crazy mix the past two weeks!  Lots to learn with my new website but thanks to Mr. Theron I’m determined to get it!  Just finished up the recording process of the new Christmas Single “Celebrate Jesus” with my producer Mr. Sam Mizell, who is amazing by the way!  I can’t wait for it to be released to radio!  YAY!

November 21st will be the official release concert for my new album “The Journey” and will be at my home church The Lighthouse in Madera, CA!!!  If you’re close by I would love to see you there :) I am honored to say that the most amazing band and vocalists in the world will be accompaning me and that is just too cool!

Been studying Jonah the past few days and his crazy fish drama!  Wow, the effects that saying “No” to God can have in our lives!  Therefore my prayer today is, Jesus help me to say yes to you always!

Hello Amy,
Your new website looks great!. I am very proud of you and the progress you are making. God is true to His word and He is giving you the desire of your heart. I look forward to hearing your music on K-love, its only a matter of time. God will always honor His faithful servants. One of the things I miss the most about The Lighthouse is hearing you sing with Gods anointing power. I have been singing a lot myself on our praise and worship team. I have found a new freedom in worship and my confidence is much higher. In the last few weeks we have had a miracle happen in our church. Two years ago the church purchased seven acers of land to build on. This recession has been so bad that the church put up the property for sale. After eight months on the market our listing ran out. Two days later a man of God found out that the property was for sale and wanted to buy it. He asked the Realtor who owned the property, and found out it was owned by a church. He wanted to know why the church was selling the land. He was told that the church planed to build on it, but the recession had forced the church to sell it. He then decided to buy the property and give it to the church. Then he said he would build what ever the church wanted on it and give that to the church also. There is much more to this story and I wish I had more time to write. The new building will seat 800 and will be completed about this time next year. I think it would great for you to give a concert there. Tell Stoney hello for me and the rest of the family and God Bless,
Mark Hammonds
